Reigate and Banstead Police Safer Neighbourhood Team
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 5th March 2026 to 12th March 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough. Arrests. There were 43 arrests in the period March 5th 2026 to March 11th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 4, Rape/Sexual Offence 5, Drugs 2, Drunk/Drug in Charge 1, Prescribed Limit 3, Violent Crime in a Public Place 10, Violent Crime – Other 2, Crime Public order 1, Offensive Weapon 1, Firearms/Ballistic seized 1, Harassment/Stalking 2, Master Occurrence 5*, Child Protection 1, Theft 1, Vehicle Crime 1, None of these 2. Assault on Police 1. *A Master Occurrence is used when recording an arrest where a number of offences are recorded for one incident.

Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been Four reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. The reports included a rogue trader roofing fraud.
Burglaries North Between 07/03/2026 00:00 to 08/03/2026 13:45. Sandy Lane, Kingswood. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspect(s) have gained a forced entry through a first floor bedroom window. Stolen: Including Jewellery and Watches. (PR 45260027086) 12/03/2026 03:10. North View Crescent, Epsom Downs. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry –Attempted forced entry through a back door to the property. The suspect has left after being disturbed by the occupant of the property Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45260028688) Central 12/03/2026 08:24. Hazel Road, Reigate. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through a rear door to the property Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 45260028979) South Nothing to report this week
